Advantantages & Disadvatages of free webhost

Disadvatages of free webhost.
There are definite advantages to free web hosts, and free web space with no ads is even better. But if you compare free web hosting versus cheap web hosting you may be surprised. This article will cover some pros and cons of free web hosting services.
As far as web hosting is concerned, you definitely get what you pay for (and sometimes less than you pay for!) Below are the disadvantages to free web hosts:

Little/No Support
Free web hosting providers generally offer no customer support to their free web hosting customers, and if they do it is low priority. While many free users are new to web hosting, neglectful support can ruin the hosting experience.
Overcrowded Servers
Free hosts are not known for their reliability and uptime. Often the servers web hosts put free users on may be overcrowded and slow or even frequently down. Since it is relatively simple to get a free web hosting company started, many free hosts are fly-by-night operations and care little for the long term well being of users files.
Less Features
Free web hosting plans usually don't include advanced features, software, and email services that paid ones do. (ex. PHP, MySQL, FTP accounts, and POP email)
Ad Banners
To fund the free hosts, web hosts add an advertisement in the form of a text link, banner or pop-up to free users web sites. Many users find these ads take away from the design of their site, or are a nuisance to their visitors.
Why I Like Free Hosts
As a webmaster, I like to use free web hosting to host my non-profit sites, or web sites that are in their beginning stages. It is easy to sign-up for a free web site to try out new site ideas, or just to store files for a while.
Advantages of free webhost.
Free web space with ads vs. cheap web space with no ads. Is free web hosting the best choice for you? Read the pros and cons of free web hosting compared to cheap web hosting then decide if saving a few dollars is worth it for you.
Price is Right
Free web hosting providers are great because they are FREE! Everyone wants to spend less when they can. Free web hosts free up cash you might spend on web hosting so you can use it on things that are more important.
Great for Any Level of Experience
Free web space hosts are perfect for the penny pinching webmaster or those who are new to or just dabbling in building web sites. Some free web hosts cater specifically to new users, or "newbies" as they like to call inexperienced webmasters, with easy to use features, add-ons, templates, and more. Free web hosts for newbies make knowing programming codes, like HTML, unnecessary with WYSIWYG site builders.
Quick and Easy
Many free web hosting companies supply online site builders or site templates so users don't even need to use programs like Dreamweaver, GoLive, or Microsoft FrontPage to build and design a site.Web based Best file managers and upload tools help make a web site 'live' quikly.
Free Subdomains
Many free hosts offer a free subdomain (ex. Yoursite.freehost.com) with hosting so users sites are instantly available and they don't have to wait for domain registration or transfers to have a live site.
Just Enough
Free web hosts provide enough web space, bandwidth, and features for the common user so users don't have to pay for more than they need as is often the case with paid hosts.

Reseller Webhosting

Compliments of the seasons!to you all my readers.I hope we are going to make the most out of our hosting this promising year.I hope you do enjoy your vacations/holidays.Straight to business.

The two main types of hosting you'll find when looking around are shared and Reseller hosting. Both types of accounts are fairly similar, with one major difference. With shared hosting you generally only have one account and you share resources with all other accounts on the server. With reseller hosting you buy a larger chunk of a shared server and resell those resources to your customers.

The great thing about a Reseller account is that you don't need to know how to run a server at all. The company you buy the reseller account from takes care of maintaining the server software. Any time you have a problem related to the server you just contact the host and they'll take care of it.

Since Reseller hosting is targetted at users who have multiple accounts that need hosting, most users won't notice any benefit from them. By buying a larger portion of the server you are generally able to save quite a bit of money over buying individual shared accounts.

With a Reseller account you can also sell hosting, so this can be a relatively economical step into the hosting business. You have the flexibility of controlling your own clients, creating, suspending and terminating accounts. You also have the knowledge that the server is being maintained for you, so you only have to worry about your clients and website.

Since the host you got the account from will be maintaining the server, you won't need to be staying up all night dealing with problems. And any issues you have you should also be able to get help with.

Another thing is that is that if you are unable to solve a customer's problem yourself your customers can call your host and mention your I.D no.This before now has become a lengthly process and is one of the major reasons some customers are unwilling to buy hosting from a reseller.

As a Reseller, you have increased access to admin functions, and if you have exposure with the control panel and server software you may find this very interesting. The other thing I can propose is asking the host if it would be possible for them to empower your account more with admin privileges.

In my opinion Reseller hosting is worth the money. It is a good step in selling web hosting and if done properly enables a small business to generate money from reselling shared hosting accounts.

Finally,i promised my readers that i will show them how to host free and without advertising.Click on it and get yourself a new year goody.HAPPY NEW YEAR!
